ABC's "What Would You Do?" Tackles Homophobic Parenting

1. I watched this

and even knowing it was fake, was heartbroken for all the ones for whom that response is all too real. I was a little disappointed that apparently no gay people eat at that particular shop.

2. Yeah, I noticed that too!

Not only were there no gay people interviewed, but also no parents of gay children. I kept expecting one of those people to jump in and say that they had also had to come to terms with having their child come out to them, and could therefore offer some real advice and guidance to the "parent." But the responses that were received were positive, nonetheless.
