"It's time for Belmont to change."

Mike Curb changed Belmont University's landscape by donating $10 million to help build the event center that bears his name.

Now the president of Nashville-based Curb Records wants to change university policy by affirming that gays and lesbians are welcome on campus.

"It's time for Belmont to change and to recognize that we have gay students, faculty and staff," said Curb, a trustee emeritus at Belmont. "I want to see this board and the school leadership act like Christians."

2. I've heard that should 'act like Christians' line

at all 3 church sponsored schools I taught at. It would probably surprise Mr. Curb to find out that most of these schools think they already are acting like christians.

Having met the man, I'm quite sure he knows what the score is. I admire his effort to deny the bigots ownership of Christianity.
