Jane Lynch Wins Golden Globe
Glee star Jane Lynch won a Golden Globe and delivered a trademark witty speech, saying, "I am nothing if not falsely humble," before thanking her wife Dr. Lara Embry.

As predicted by many, Lynch was the popular winner of the Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. Lynch plays show choir-hating Sue Sylvester in the FOX hit series.

1. I like her, but I found her to be far more hilarious for a smaller role

--that of Charlie Sheen's psychiatrist on Two and A Half Men. It was a recurring role over each of the seasons and she absolutely hammered it every time and let her show her real comedic chops in a way I don't think she really can on Glee. She is terrific and deserving, but I have to admit agreeing with the Modern Family actor who sort of got himself in trouble for saying pretty much the same thing (i.e., that he liked her better in other roles and thought the Glee character to be pretty uni-dimensional). The media, of course, started a firestorm with that, until both actors basically told them to move on-- and that no controversy existed. But, still glad to see her rewarded.

6. Charlie ( after uncharacteristically unloading a truckload...
.... of intimate , previously well-guarded, emotionally-laden secrets, and getting absolutely no response) :

You're not even listening to me, are you?

Jane: I drift in and out.

4. My family are GLEEKS!
No TV, so we download it in Itunes in town, then eat dinner in front of it on Wednesday nights! (no "tv," just a set...).

The singing and dancing always lifts my mood, no matter what is going on in the world that day. Everyone should watch it - fun, funny, smart, great talent, and usually a great message.
