"Scott appointed David Wilkins of the Florida Baptist Children's Home, as the new Department of Children and Families secretary."

"The Florida Baptist Children's Home is a private agency that allows only ``professing Christians'' to adopt children in its care and Scott repeated his position that he opposes gay adoptions. "I believe adoption should be by married couples."

1. Well this is easy to fix - allow gays to marry

2. I am a single parent who adopted 4 kids. That is not a solution.

How about any qualified adult who meets the requirements and can love a child as his or her can adopt a child in need?
