D.C Cab driver kicks gay couple to the curb

Washington residents Christopher Holloway 51, and Ari Fredge 45, were kicked out of a DC cab for kissing in the back seat.

According to the Washington Post, the couple hopped into the cab after a nice dinner out. After the cab pulled away, the men shared a “quick peck,” in the back seat. The driver immediately slammed on the breaks.

“My cab is not a bed. You cannot have sex in my cab!” declared the driver, who ordered the couple to get out of his taxi.

The driver demanded that the couple pay the $6.35 fair for a four-block ride. Holloway and Fredge refused, and when the cab driver threatened to call the police, Fredge said, “Too late; I’m already calling 911.” At which point the driver sped off.

Leon Swain, head of the D.C Taxi Commission, responded by saying, “That type of behavior will not be tolerated.”
