No Trial For Mass. Dad In Gay Book Flap

Charges have been dropped against a Lexington, Massachusetts man who allegedly caused a disturbance at his son's school over the use of a gay book.

A trial was to have begun Thursday for David Parker, 42, on criminal trespassing charges. Late Wednesday Parker and the prosecutors' office reached a settlement. Details of the settlement have not been made public, but the Boston Globe reports that under the agreement Parker does not admit guilt.

Parker became enraged last April when he discovered his six-year old son had brought home the book "Who's in a Family.' (story)

2. This guy strikes me as nothing more than a publicity hound

and his obsession with four pages in a book as violating his "deeply held" religious beliefs (which are CHOSEN, by the way) is definitely suspect. He didn't seem to have any objection to animals parenting in the book without a license from the state....
