Gonzaga under fire for allowing anti-gay speaker
SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga University, which has rejected recent attempts to bring a Planned Parenthood speaker and "The Vagina Monologues" to the school, is under fire for the campus appearance of a conservative who contends homosexuality is a matter of choice.

The College Republicans brought in Dr. John Diggs for a lecture titled "The Medical Effects of Homo-Sex."

Some students criticized the lecture in the student newspaper, the Bulletin, as anti-gay and promoting stereotypes.

Diggs' appearance Tuesday was intended to foster open debate and inquiry, said Daniel Brutocao, president of the Gonzaga chapter of College Republicans.

1. Hey, Daniel, why don't you make it Pvt. Brutacao?
Give me a break. "Open debate and inquiry" from today's college Republicans? Never.

2. ROTFLMAO!
"Open debate and inquiry?" Give me a break! As if these College Republicans have had an interest in discovering the true nature of homosexuality why...why...for decades....because we ALL know that it affects them all so personally and directly.

Any ridiculous speaker with a program of that title was most certainly not going to open up "inquiry" and "debate". . .but if I was leading up the gay student group, I'd look for a damned "expert" who could cook up a study or two about how Republicans are pathological liars and deceptions, announce it to the campus, and then defend it by saying "this was just about open debate and inquiry."

We REALLY need to be more confrontative about these things. I'm so tired of giving this crap a pass.

3. LOL! I've also wanted to hold an "ex-straight" conference ...
... just to help some of the heterosexuals who are so miserable in their "chosen lifestyle" that they worry incessantly about what we do in bed.

I think we could easily "prove" things like:

1. The cause for divorce is heterosexual marriages.

2. Since the Bible contains only 6 or 7 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals, it's obvious that God doesn't like heterosexuals (or at least thinks they need more rules).

3. Children are safer with LGBT folks since the majority of child molseters are straight.

4. Ted Bundy, Richard Speck and other famous serial killers were heterosexual.

We could have a field day with this!
