Came from UPS today. It includes the short story by Annie Proulx, the complete screen play for the movie by Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, black and white stills from the movie and three essays by the three writers giving background on the story, why it was brought to film and the work involved in turning a 27 page short into a 2 hour movie.

I am really looking forward to spending this weekend at home reading. :hi:

I've read the Proulx short story, and I LOVE Larry McMurtry's writing. He has a knack of making even the most desperately tragic circumstances contain elements of heroism and hope. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie and hope you enjoy your new book!
