3. I did expect homophobia, yes. But I wish he would just STFU
about the "traditional marriage."

10. Traditional marriage in Solomon & King David's time allowed them
to have alot of women - wonder if the IRS would need to set up a sliding scale for dependent writeoffs.

Full deduction for your first 10 wives, 90% for the next 10 and so on.

There you go! It's just one more way for King George to say "tax cut".

2. I agree...

I don't remember Junior's exact wording...but he listed a litany of "concerns" that good Americans are thinking about.

He mentioned morality issues, advocating for children and then he included a line about people who are concerned about changing the definition of marriage.

What made me sick--was that Junior was saying that moral people and people who care about families and children--also don't want gay people to marry.

Screw you, and your bigoted, narrow world view Junior.

I'm a heterosexual, female, stay-at-home mom from the suburbs. I care about my children. I want all children to be loved and cared about. I'm concerned about moral issues and I hope and pray for a better world for my children--for all children. I also believe that gay people deserve respect, acceptance and the right to marry.

We're not immoral or insensitive to children--if we refuse to discriminate against people because of who they are!

I'm sick of Junior's evil propagandizing. They're trying to position liberals--and those who support compassion, tolerance and acceptance--as people who lack morals.

4. AMEN! Particularly awful after going on about AIDS patients.
He is SOOOOOOO stupid about this, I want to scream. "Let's get rid of the stigma attached to AIDS by supporting homophobia." FUCKING BRILLIANT. Let's fondle boobies to support breast cancer, too :eyes:

8. He and his minions are evil, fucking homophobes
Naturally, since his poll ratings are going down, he fucking has to bring up that "homosexuals are destroying the sanctity of marriage" horseshit. And I bet that motherfucker Santorum had a shiteating grin on his face when Bush spewed that shit.

Fuck Bush. Fuck the bigots who support him and his hate filled agenda. There is NO reason whatsoever to deny us the same marriage benefits as anyone else. Period.

Anyone who does not support full equality for GLBT people are bigots. And I'm getting goddamned sick and tired of being demonized by these fuckers.

9. And methinks bush is a closet gay..
because many antigay people like J. edgar hoover were both gay and hated themselves so much they had to oppress their own kind.

14. Is it wrong of me to think in 5 years we'll in be "re-education" camps?
Maybe it's my overactive imagination. :scared:

Then I come back to reality and realize we'll get what we've been fighting for. The pendulum can't swing towards the bigots' side forever, eventually straight people will get sick of hearing stories about them persecuting us. I think most are already tired of it.

17. We have to take the fight to where it REALLY hurts
like the Korean-American minions of the Republican Party.

As long as they rule Los Angeles, gay marriage will NEVER be reality in California.

Either we ban them, or they ban us. Plain and simple. PREPARE TO FIGHT.
