Study: Equipment Size Governs Gay Self Esteem
The old saying "it's not the size of the equipment but how it does the job" has no place in fact for gay men scientists in the Netherlands have found.

<snip>

The larger their organ the more confident gay men were both in lovemaking and in life in general the study found.

It also found that the majority of gay men believed that a large sexual organ was the major attraction for potential lovers.

Men with average or smaller organs displayed lower self esteem and a more negative view of the bodies in general.

Well, d'uh! I hope they didn't spend a whole lot of money to come up with this finding since I could have told them that for free.

3. Amazing....And what about this nugget....
"n a previous study Woertman reported that gay men spend more time, money and effort on their appearance than straight men."

Do tell....I wonder how many Euros they cost the university for that finding?

6. *LOL* This reminds me of a study in the United States...
...I believe it was in North Carolina some years back, they conducted a study to find out why prisoners hate being in jail. Stupid studies like this are conducted all the time.

What I would like to know is if they measured all the men themselves or just took their word for it?

8. If they just took men's word for it ...
... then the results are bound to be ... (ahem!) ... "exaggerated."

In the study business, that is what's known as an "AOL study" ;-)

17. Column A, Column B, Shower, Grower
Actually, my experience is that many people who are on the "less" side of more or less, learn to use their best "assets" regardless.

Plus if it's too big about the only thing you CAN do with it is throw it over your shoulder and burp it.

10. If this statement is true ...
"The larger their organ the more confident gay men were both in lovemaking and in life in general the study found."

... then I'm gonna start hanging out in churches and see what organist plays the biggest pipe organ!

Perhaps that explains why Elton John plays the piano. Apparently he must suck at the organ.

ooooooooooooooooooh! (ducking for cover now!) :hide:

15. This is what big-dicked men in porn does...
It makes many men feel like what they see on the screen is the norm.

Did they recruit complete size queens for this study?

22. I was wondering the same thing.
Gay men just openly say that size matters. There are also plenty of gay men who don't want too much. I imagine it is actually more difficult for straight guys with small "endowments".
