Bigots decided not to protest gay prom in California. Nice!!

Tracy’s first gay prom went off without a hitch Thursday night — and without any protesters or hecklers from within or outside the city.

Maybe they were scared off by the four television crews and their klieg lights parked in front of Anthony’s Steak House on West Grant Line Road. Or maybe it was the groups of bikers parked out back, suggested Irish McNary, one of two lesbian bikers who came up from Fresno to “run interference” should there be rowdy protesters.

I'm so pleased this took place in a relatively conservative area with no trouble!

Fred Phelps and his God Hates Fags anti-christian cult (who were scheduled to try to ruin things for a bunch of nice kids who simply wanted to dance and be left alone), did not show up!!

Phelps must have been too busy praying to his true savior....Satan. :evilfrown:

(BTW...straight kids were invited to this prom...)

Though I can't help but wonder about the usual suspects of bigotry, was there another protest on their calendar for the night? They just couldn't get away...?
