Pataki, Giuliani Too 'Pro Gay' For GOP
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/04/042706nypoli.htm

The nation's senior governor was in New Hampshire on Thursday while "America's Mayor" was preparing to fly to Iowa as they continue their explorations of the 2008 presidential landscape.

But ask Phyllis Schlafly what chance New Yorkers George Pataki and Rudolph Giuliani have of being the Republican presidential nominee and her answer comes quickly:

"Not much."

"I don't think Giuliani or Pataki will resonate with grass-roots Republicans or Midwest Republicans," said the Kansas-based conservative activist. "They are SO New York."

2. Yet, somehow they think that's a good thing.
When will those morons realize that their attitude towards gays is no different from how people used to view blacks? Learning to treat them as equals made our country better, but republicans don't seem to notice.

4. Pataki signed New York state's gay rights bill into law.
He might as well just not even bother exploring a Presidential bid. Schafly is, very sadly, right. He and Guliani have zero chance of getting the nomination.

5. Of all the reasons Schafley might dislike either, she immediately points
to their support of gay rights. Tells you the depth of her and others hatred and bigotry.
