I just made a call to the DNC headquarters in D.C. RE: Dean |

I explained to them that I am a registered Democrat, Have contributed to the DNC every year since I was 18 (I am now 42) and I expect some answers from chairman Dean over the firing of the "Gay outreach chief".
His public statement so far to date is flimsy at best and unless I get some straight answers (no pun intended), I am stopping all financial support to the DNC!
I also explained I lost my partner of 15 years two months ago and am still in probate hell because of how Gays are treated in America.
And in closing I stated " YOU HAVE PICKED THE WRONG TIME TO PISS ME OFF ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS"
I also said if answers are not forthcoming maybe it is time the DNC takes a look at who the chairman is. The Gay community has been very good to the DNC financially, the lesser of two evils doesn't work anymore.

But I don't think it's going to make a difference.
I seriously am beginning to think, with the Minority Whip's comments on Colbert, this latest idiotic episode, the performance in 2004, Dean's shutdown of the gay outreach desk (apart from the money collection point), the fact that Iraq-War-is-Great-gays-suck Hillary Clinton as likely nominee, the fact that the Dems made history by losing seats rather than gaining them in 2002 against the GOP, and the fact that we're sure to see some other stupidity will all lead to one path in November: defeat.
If the Dems manage to lose the midterms this year (and by losing, I mean not taking a majority from a party where almost 60% of Americans say they'd prefer Dems in Congress), I am going to start to question the value of the DNC as a political entity.
