Apex, Equi, Dyadic, Duplex.
I had supper with a gay friend of mine last night, a pianist. In the light of my recent de-closeting, we were discussing the inadequacy of the term "bisexual". He said that he had heard all four of the words in the post title used as alternatives. I was so intrigued I made a note of them.

Has anyone else heard these? Or anything similar? I don't mind the term bisexual as such, but I can't think of a term equivalent to "gay" or "straight" - "AC/DC" maybe, but that's not good enough.

4. I associate "switch" with BDSM.
As in someone who alternates between top and bottom.
