Laura Bush To GOP: Don't Use Gay Marriage Ban In Campaign
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/05/051406bush.htm

Some election-year advice to Republicans from a high-ranking source who has the president's ear: Don't use a proposed constitutional amendment against gay marriage as a campaign tool.
Just who is that political strategist? Laura Bush.

The first lady told "Fox News Sunday" that she thinks the American people want a debate on the issue. But, she said, "I don't think it should be used as a campaign tool, obviously."

"It requires a lot of sensitivity to just talk about the issue — a lot of sensitivity," she said.

I'm really confused, and I think that's how the Bushies want it

2. Yeah, She's Pro-Choice Too
fat lot of good that does - her husband is more interested in listening to the Pharisess than to her.

And of course, Laura still gets to enjoy high approval ratings with most Americans.

Maybe it's all a good cop/bad cop act.

3. Too bad he doesn't listen to his wife, not that I believe her anyway
I saw her interview Sunday and thought she was a much better speaker than W, but still a liar.

4. I'll give Laura the benefit of the doubt on this and say...
... she publicly gave her honest opinion, which the Bushies and Republicans will totally ignore. I'm just pleasantly surprised the George didn't beat his wife for voicing an opinion in public that wasn't fed to her.

5. All that Prozac and Zoloft tends to make you sensitive.
Don't worry, once they tone down her meds she'll be as hateful as the rest of them.
