I would just like to say, on the off chance that Boy George every stumbles into the GBLT forum of Democraticunderground, how incredibly grateful I am to have grown up in the era of Culture Club/Dead or Alive/Sinead O'Connor/Annie Lennox/and of course Madonna, who all put sledgehammers through traditional gender and sexual castings. I can't beleive how I used to think the 80's totally sucked, they are looking so good right about now. I guess I believed music would always travel forward, not give us all whiplash by pulling up the parking break in the middle of the highway and heading in the completely opposite (and suckified) direction in the 21 century.
