Sign the Human Rights Campaign Pledge to support fair-minded candidates
I just signed this and am passing it on...:-)

Take the pledge!
Support fair-minded candidates on November 7th!

The current right-wing leadership in Congress and in many state governments has launched a long-term assault on the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Americans. The only way to roll back their discriminatory policies and move the cause of equality forward is to replace anti-gay extremists with pro-equality candidates.

This November, we're out to win, and together we have a real chance to do just that. Make your personal pledge now to support equality on November 7th.

1. I signed it....
Discrimination against any individual group diminishes every one of us.

2. Thank you. I agree.
They had the VP of the Log Cabin Republicans on one of the news shows tonight. I just don't get them. Why would they support candidates that discriminate against them?!

3. "I just don't get them."
Me either. It would be the equivalent of me joining the KKK. :scared:

4. I know.
It's like Jewish people joining the Nazi party...

It reminds me of the Dave Chapelle skit where he played a blind white supremacist. At least that character had an excuse...:eyes:

6. That skit really was very funny.
He divorced his wife because he didn't approve of mixed marriages... It wasn't that long ago that I saw it, so it must have been a repeat. I'd never seen it before, but I've been staying with a friend who watches it. :-)
