I hope this doesn't cost us the 2008 election!
First K-Fed and now this. Shocking!

Oh well, at least Lehmkuhl is back on "the market!"

Report: Lance Bass, boyfriend split

NEW YORK (AP) -- Lance Bass and his boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl, have called it quits, People magazine reported on its Web site Monday.

Bass, who was part of the boy band 'N Sync, revealed earlier this year that he is gay and was in a relationship with Lehmkuhl, a former Air Force captain and winner of season four of CBS' "Amazing Race."

<snip>

Lehmkuhl, 32, has said he admired Bass' decision to disclose his sexuality. Lehmkuhl has a new book, "Here's What We'll Say," which recounts his time keeping his sexual orientation a secret from Air Force colleagues.

1. No doubt a right-winger will.
And it'd be easy enough to do too.

And most people won't want to look at the finer details.

Appearances. That's all society is about. Always has been. Always will be. And Lance was quite the mannequin.

Despite it all, right wingers would have an easier time pointing out grown up gay couples that call it quits...

(the first GLBT couple calls it quits :( )

(the latest bit of ammunition; we all know politicians love to hit below the belt and we seem to have little trouble giving them free ammunition.)

My point is, any minority sect ought to remember that because they are not the majority, any rights to be fought for are going to be difficult - and keeping credibility will be even more difficult. And maybe the majority needs to look at its own mores as well. The majority, when setting standards, has no right to make double standards. Neither side is less responsible than the other.

4. Uhhhh...lionesspriyanka
not equal rights...special rights.
Haven't you been listening to dobson, widmon and the rest of the hate-mongers of the reich wing?

Their call for special rights include...
1. marriage (eeeeek!)
2. being able to buy and rent property without being discriminated against (Well, I never!)
3. Being able to hold a job without fear of being fired for being homosexual (Ohhhh...the impertinence)
4. The ability to adopt children (I mean this is so outrageous! If we let them adopt, those children will become homosexuals. Because it's a proven fact...gay parents raise gay children and hetero parents raise hetero childre...Oh wait! No...um...well...it's...nevermind)

7. Reichen just doesn't seem like he can keep a man.
I blame Reichen. Of course, I have no clue whatsoever as to the reason of the breakup. But I'm siding with Lance. Poor Lance.
