URGENT!! Massachusetts Legislators under assault!
please Read, Take Action and Forward

We have never needed you to take action more than we do now!

Governor Romney will stop at nothing to ban marriage equality on his way out the door. And it's working. We need you to take action today to stop him.

Today, the Supreme Judicial Court ruled on a Romney lawsuit against the legislature. The SJC rejected Mitt's demands to force the legislature to vote, and instead said the legislature cannot be forced to vote to advance an amendment with which it fundamentally disagrees. But legislators are feeling the heat nonetheless.

Also today, the Boston Globe reported that Romney is threatening legislators by holding up their pay raises, which are supposed to be automatic.

We cannot allow this intimidation to work. Please email your legislators today. Even if you have done so before, please click here to contact your legislators and urge them to stop the anti-gay amendment when they reconvene on January 2, the last day of the session, by adjourning the convention.

We have never needed your help more than we do now. Please forward this email to friends, family members, and anyone else. The future of marriage equality in the Commonwealth depends on it.

Thank you,

Marc Solomon
Campaign Director

PS. We also need you at the State House on January 2nd. Please make an effort to join us -- for an hour or for the whole day. Let us know you're coming and we'll send you more details. Thanks.

http://www.MassEquality.org was formed as a coalition dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated.

2. Sorry I'm not in Massachusetts. . .
but why doesn't someone pull Romney's last paycheck, and then file a lawsuit demanding the last year of his salary back for negligence of duty? He spent 60% of the year out of the damned state - the people elected a governor for Massachusetts, and got an ambitious, two-faced presidential contender instead.

It really is about time someone start fighting back instead of constantly always playing defense. We are NOT going to WIN if we play defense ALL THE TIME.
