According to a transcript of her deposition in the lawsuit, the DNC’s chief of staff, Leah Daughtry, stated, "I believe, as the church believes, that marriage is intended for one man and one woman."
The document was obtained by The Washington Blade, which reported on the story on Jan. 30.
The Washington Blade further reported that despite her religious convictions, Daughtry said she had not counseled DNC chairman to take a stand against marriage equality.
as a gay Christian, I'm so sick of these people claiming that "the church" does not support same-sex marriage
my church does and do others across this nation
