Oregon Domestic Partner Registry Open TODAY |
|
I did not know they had lifted the injunction, but they did. It was just on the news, all sorts of people at the county courhouse registering their partnerships.
Thought you'd want to know.

1. Just wrote my neighbor's names in calligraphy on their certificate! |

They are over the moon happy about this. They were ecstatic when it was first passed and flaming pissed when it was overturned.
Lesbians rock.

:hi:
Pretty cool. I was ticked when it was overturned too, but maybe if we get going with this, people will stop acting like the world will end. I would bet 95% of the people don't even know it's going on. Don't you think? I don't hear much conversation about it at all, escept with gay couples of course.

3. I'm afraid it's going to do irreparable harm to my marriage |

I was tight with my wife and really thought we had something special but now those damn gay people can shack up, too.
The whole world's going to hell.
/:sarcasm:
I do know some bible-thumping, confederate flag-waving conservative landlords who actually have a soft spot in their hearts for their gay tenants. Definitely not that big a deal here at the end of the valley. In Pendleton, who knows?
