We Unitarian Universalists were there at the San Marcos Courthouse today ...

(San Marcos, Ca., in San Diego County) celebrating with the newlyweds. We gave everyone who got married a rose! It was a joyous occasion!

There were no protesters or anything!

5. A Unitarian Universalist was marrying people in Butte County
Where that &%&*^()*)*( county official stopped performing marriages, the minister volunteered to marry people for free. Then, one of the counties (may have been the same one) stopped issuing marriage licenses. I hope it majorly inconveniences the so-called Christians in that county who want to get married.

I saw a photo slide show at the NY Times that showed one couple being married by a minister--wonder if it was a UU minister.
