Just for fun, Bs and Ts check in. |
|
I know from working in the LGBT community that Bisexuals and people of transgender experience tend to be a bit of a minority.
I'm way into Bi visibility. And I've learned a lot from my friends who have transitioned, and am proud to advocate for the trans community.

Actually prefer the word "sexual" don't like too many self-confining boxes. Man, married, parent and fully human. That's enough!

I agree, I view my own sexuality as fluid. I don't like polarization as it makes us like kids standing on opposite sides of the gym during a middle school dance.

Been on both sides of the fence, too, in terms of marriage.
Currently married to a lesbian, and prefer it. Kinda like, I think men are fun for sex and spending time with, but I wouldn't want to live with one. Know what I mean?

And tired of being invisible I might add.
I also support trans rights, they are even further on the back of the bus than the rest of us.

I'm not so fond of the labels either. I'd be as feminine as a man as I am masculine as a woman, so those parts are a toss-up. As for preferred partners - well, hips is hips and lips is lips :-) but I prefer my husband's to anyone's.

Your husband doesn't have hips. ;) Those tiny protrusions at either side of his arse, hardly count.

My only really problems have been with boys who want me to have threesomes with them and their girls. Guy:"You're bi?" Me:"Yes" Guy:"I didn't know that *pause* So would you like to uh... make out with my girlfriend?" Me:"No." Guy:"Why not? Isn't she hot?" Me:"She's a slut with twice as many STD's as you, is currently puking in the trash can and will be passed out in five minutes. And you're no catch either so bugger off."
Ahhh college....

Been there, too.
It's weird though, isn't it? That these requests seem to come only from men... I've never had a gal ask me to sleep with her and her male partner/husband/BF. But more than a few times from the other direction... and I always knew damned well that the wife/GF would NOT be happy to be asked to share her bed with me.

Checking in- I'm both bi and transgender. I identify as ftm transgender, as I am currently living as a woman, and am biologically female- but most people would call me sir. I don't look terribly feminine in any way. I am considering going all the way over to male at some point, but really feel more like both, and like that particular freedom. It's nice to have a spot on du to talk about these sorts of issues imo.

It is nice to have this forum. And gender can be just as fluid as sexuality. I have a friend who's an mtftm! I call him he now because he's living as a man again, but when I met him he was a her who was born as a he. He just lived the way it felt right to him at the time. He doesn't regret his years as a female. In fact, he feels lucky to have lived as a woman for so long and to have had that experience, but he couldn't go on living as a woman because the way he identified in terms of gender simply changed. And if you spend time with him, it all seems perfectly normal and natural...which I think it IS.

I mean that he lived as both, and went through the whole journey, then came back to embrace his maleness only in a more balanced way, I bet. Wonder if he'd gotten the lower surgery or not, that would really shift the balance. Also, isn't interesting that so many du'ers are bi, and have bravely come forth?

There is just sooo much to do on DU, that I missed this forum. I'm more lesbian than bi. Currently living with my girlfriend and my neighbors are ok with it. Was married to an abusive husband, finally divorced him, crushed his fragile ego(told him he was the reason I went gay:evilgrin: ) I'll have to tell you the whole story one day. Sorry I rambled on.

for just about everything here, so I knew this one had to be here! Not really Bi, have been considering MtF since I knew that such a thing existed. I have done the research but the money!! So my situation is that Im a male in a female body and while I love being topped and prefer it with TS or strapped female (sorry too much info? dont wanna be banned!), I dont mind the switch. Does that make me bi? or unclassifiable? Im 32 and still as confused as when I was 12!:eyes:
edit: for better spelin and grammarfication! I know its tsill bad but trust me makes more sense now!

I love men, and have had a few sexual experiences. I also fantasize about women, and hope to be able to experience that side of the fence as well. Im only 22, and believe in being in a serious relationship before I "put out" to men. With women though, Im tempted to put on my "F$&* me shoes", my smallest miniskirt and go to the gay bar and just see what happens. Unfortunately, I will probably never have the nerve to do that. I think you can count me as bi though.

I felt the same way. After I got away from my ex, I was tired of men. Went out with a friend of mine, I was dressed in a short skirt, high heels and a low cut sheer blouse. We were at this bar and this guy kept hitting on us, so we left, went back to her place and had a few drinks. One thing led to another and we were sleeping together. I've loved it ever since. I still like some guys, though. There's this 18 yo down the street that helps out around our house that I think about. Might have to teach him how to treat a lady. (does that make me bad?) You never know though, you may get your chance sooner than you think.
