The article is about the local Pride day, specifically about the blessing of a group of couples during a MCC sponsored picnic. Of course, the comments started coming in on the article. Most are positive, but I've been going back and forth with a smattering of boneheads all week (going by the handle "Seth.")

I love the "pick and choose" mentality as well. From what I remember, Jambalaya has both pork and shellfish in it. A lot of LA residents going to hell for that one.

My mind just reels that they can't see that this is clear and beat-you-over-the-head discrimination..

Jambalaya can have anything in it, really- that's kind of undefined. Much of Cajun cuisine is based on using what you happen to have on hand, so there's a lot of flexibility there. So yeah- I'm just SO screwn from my diet AND my alternate lifestyle... Oh well- Guess I can REALLY cut loose at Southern Decadence this year!
