Today, god punished California with an earthquake...
... that did almost no damage, killed nobody, struck nowhere near where most gay people are known to congregate, and disrupted no gay pride or folsom street festival events in any way.

My kid slamming the door causes more shaking.

If that was punishment, my cats slept through it!

I haven't watched that stuff since before the 2004 election.

They're just complete "morans" except for Keith O.

10. Wow.
And, I wouldn't want to have been that reporter.

Why didn't they just give me a call before comin' out? I'd have told 'em it twern't nothin.' HeeHee.

All kidding aside, it must have been a weird quake - stirring things up a little far and wide.

14. Hell, Canada should be due for some serious plagues about now.
Fire raining from the sky, plagues of locusts sweeping across the provinces, first born children being killed, etc, etc.

It's been 3 years since our friends up North had same-sex marriage equality. Ok, life is just as it was before...people wake up, go to work, live their lives. But...a vengeful god can be so...sneaky sometimes. Just when you least expect it....pow! Pestilence galore!

21. I was told recently to expect God's wrath in Massachusetts
About a month ago while in Cambridge with my mom a man came up to us to say how beautiful it was to see two women close together. I hugged her and said this is my mom, I'm always going to be close to her. He ranted on about how he thought we were a couple. Apparently two women together are hot but two men together is against the Bible so God's got "plans" for Mass so he's planning on moving soon. I offered to help him pack :eyes:.

12. 2000 rabid pastors in San Diego tomorrow
According to "No on 8" there will be 2000 anti gay-marriage so-called pastors in San Diego on wednesday. Perhaps decent folks should leave in case God was just practicing.

:sarcasm:

18. I find your post completely insulting on many levels.
1. we aren't talking about "priests" so why the pedophile "joke"? 2. Why would you think hateful people like that are closeted gays? 3. Why the fuck do you put "closeted" (as in gay) and "pedophiles" as an "and/or" type of thing? Is being gay that close to pedophilia in your mind? And 4. Please don't joke about kids and KY-Jelly. I think you are beyond crass.

19. actually i hadn't even made half those connections
bust considering how many catholic priests are either or both, yah I think I have a leg to stand on.
it's not like these are priests from reasonable faiths... you know.. ones that are ACCEPTING OF PEOPLE!?
I will apologize about the KY joke, I was only referring to each other, I didn't mean to insinuate kids in that, for that I really am sorry.

20. I don't know of any Catholic priests that are both. I have only heard of either pedophiles...
or gay priests. I have not heard of a single gay pedophile priest. I guess that's what bugs me about you saying and/or. A pedophile is not gay if he only victimizes boys, he's just a pedophile.

And the post you responded to mentioned "pastors" not priests.

Bottom line, I just really balk at people who immediately call hateful bigoted horrid people gay. They ARE NOT GAY. They are just hateful bigoted horrible people.

17. Just like the fires in Florida that year...
the ones that only hit near the rural red voting areas. But it was God punishing Orlando for allowing gay pride flags to be flown.

Even though none of them hit anywhere near Orlando itself. Which was impressive, because Orlando is just one big urban sprawl.
