As Hallmark goes, so goes the nation. You can't find a more Middle America outfit than Hallmark.
I remember walking into one of their stores once, and seeing a section headed "Good Luck On Your Diet."
They're smart.

4. you are right about that |

I think I can hear MuseRider saying, "yes!" from here. Kansas City is very middle America and I'm sure they'll catch some heat. I'm sure the Phelps clan will declare a fatwah and head down I-70.
It is great marketing. I'm sure Hallmark will experience a surge in their sales and other companies will follow suit. The more common reminders that members of the GLBT are just like everyone else the better.

7. If you put them with other greeting cards, they'll recruit. |

Then, you'll have gay birthday cards, gay sympathy cards, and those horrid, icky Hallmark Shoebox Greetings with the vinegar-puss old lady making impertinent remarks. What happened to the good old days of cards with cherubs, Currier and Ives, and a simple bouquet of roses on anniversary cards? Everyone should be the same, and everything would be so much easier!
Oh, do I have to add this? All right. Here. :sarcasm:
