Survey USA Prop 8 Election Eve Poll - No 50 Yes 47
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 09:30 PM by ruggerson
That's the good news.

The bad news is that one in every four Obama voters in CA is supporting Prop 8.

Keep on fighting! Talk to everyone you know in CA!

4. That is NOT good news
That means that in just the last couple months, we have gone from defeating prop 8 by double digits percentage points to just 3%, which means the fuckers have closed the gap and made this battle anybody's game, what with the margin of error (typically, 2-4%)

This is NOT good news.

9. True, but would you rather be winning by 3% or losing by 1%?
You pick. For a while we were down. I'd much rather see it narrowly fail than pass by anything.

Likewise, it shows that currently we're winning above the barrage of Yes on Prop 8 ads!

2. I can't believe that 47% of California are stuck in the 15th century homophobes.
Nearly half the state is that backwards?

3. I have been working so hard on defeating Prop. 8.
This is good news, but I still worry.

Thanks, Ruggerson!

5. Such a small margin
I wish I could vote there, until 4 years ago California was my only home...thanks to all working hard to stop this abuse of the Constitution and of our basic rights. Tommorow we know so many things...

10. They are playing on deep fears and bigotry
just got off a nice little sci-fi forum where Obama voters were "agonizing" over what to do!???

It's amazing how people cling to their bigotry.

12. That Is Just Sad...
that people who see no problem in voting for Obama have to agonise over whether or not to vote against Prop 8. Homophobia truly will be the last prejudice to fall.
