Vote No on 8 Check-In
I voted NO on 8 today. My only regret is that the ballot had no option for HELL NO.

Anyone else?

1. Agreed
Although, the supporters are really starting to piss me off. I honestly hope it doesn't pass, 1) so that equality reigns supreme and 2) so that I can shove it in their face.

6. Aggressive little punks, they are
I had a confrontation with someone who was planting Yes on 8 signs on shopping mall property. I uprooted the signs and he started yelling at me. I told him free speech on HIS property, not MALL property. Jeez.

3. Wow. I said Hell No just as I read the subject line.
You can imagine my surprise when I saw that you were saying the same thing. I voted NO on 8 several weeks ago with my absentee.

Too many morons. I'm starting to get down. I don't think Obama can make changes that will actually make the big big differences. But he's the best we've got. Maybe hate will change to love.

4. I'm in SD, not CA, but I just wanted
to pop in and let you fine folks know how much I hope Prop 8 goes DOWN. If for some reason it passes, I hope you fight harder than ever to get it rescinded and shove it in the face of the hateful bigots. I wish I could vote against it myself! We had a similar measure here in South Dakota two years ago. It passed, unfortunately, but, given that it's SD, that really wasn't a surprise at all.

5. Done!
My Mom and newphew also voted no. In fact, I talked to my nephew this morning and he ws vry fired up about voting -- said that No on 8 was, in some ways, more important than the presidential race! (He's 30 and straight.)

No to descrimination!!

17. "yes on 8" scream "religious bigotry!!!" in response to ad.
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 02:26 PM by keepCAblue
These people are unfuckingbelievable. They can compare GLBTQs to Hitler, but scream "bigotry" when the truth about them strikes too close to home???!!!!

The Yes on 8 camp is crying religious bigotry over the Courage Campaign ad that depicts Mormons raiding the home of a lesbian couple and tearing up their marriage license. Allegedly the ad is engaging in hideous levels of religious bigotry and intolerance.

You wouldn't believe how ugly it's been. Yesterday, there were 5 cars with "Yes on 8" signs driving up and down Market St. honking their horns and taunting people on the sidewalk.

And from what I hear, it's even worse in Sacramento. :loveya: :hi:

8 needs all the help — or hurt — it can get. I was wishing it were on a ballot card all to itself, enlarged to fit the entire card, so I could draw that line BIG.

Despite the worst efforts of the mini-truck with the large "Yes on 8" sign in the bed, parked across the street from my polling site — all day.

(That's the second truck like that I've seen in two days. Leads me to believe there may be an army of them with one at each polling site.)
