3. What makes me even sadder is that, in a thread discussing disappointment

over Prop 8 and how it has made the GLBT community feel, someone felt the need to tell them to let "us Dems" enjoy our celebration. That's just so illustrative of what is wrong with this world, IMO.

4. I actually just went and read thru that thread

Earlier today there was a thread where someone was complaing about whiners - and I said basically said what LOSTINVA said in her OP. Which is very unusual for me. There's so much to be happy about - I don't understand why people can't cut some slack to what is obviously - and it should be frigging obvious - a devasting blow for equality.

I wanted Obama to win so badly - and now I fell all mixed up. Still happy he won, but Prop 8 is a travesty.

On happier note -
