One spot of good news for us to share from last night
We threw the Republicans out of Albany last night, and now the New York state legislature is completely in Democratic hands. The Repuke-controlled State Senate was pretty much the only thing holding us back from marriage equality and other issues--our Gov is an extremely supportive ally and has committed to full marriage equality.

I have no doubt NY will be the next state to bring the sanity. And I dare the 'phobes to start some shit here.

Gay-friendly event planners should move their events from CA to NY!

2. W00t!
That sounds like a good plan. Let's boycott CA. It may work.

7. Cali losing money over Prop 8.
Ha, seriously. I wish more of my California Brethern had realized the revenue they'll be missing out on. But we have strong hopes here on the west coast that the Supreme Court will overturn it. It is after all discrimination, and is in violation of our Civil Rights. Whether you're against homosexuality or not.

6. Wow - that's great news!
Now maybe they will give Buffalo and other cities the power to merge into metropolitan forms of government like NYC enjoys...
