Are our (GBLT) enemies? that includes the minority community that we have traditionally voted with. If so what's the path foward?

2. I don't think it is that easy.
Many were confused on how to vote. Many were lied to and no one corrected it.

The Democrats have a coalition, and will at times disagree on things. Their is a lot of blame, it should have never been on the ballot, and I don't see it getting ratified.

We don't need to call each other enemies.

9. I am,
I am pissed about the proposition.

I think it is unconstitutional, it was to TAKE AWAY rights. I don't see it ratifying.

I am on your side, and please accept my apology if I offended you. You have every right to be angry at every person who voted for this disgusting prop.

3. I prefer to think of them as
unenlightened. I think if they truly understood the issue(s) they could not in good conscious vote that way. They've been systematically lied to for all of their lives.

In addition, oppressed minorities need *some group* to climb over and "be better than" and GLBT's seem to be on of the last bastions of "condoned" prejudice and discrimination.

Let's hope that along with their advancement in this country comes a new found ability to allow others the same freedoms!

4. I don't know how it was worded in California
but in Florida, it was full of contradictory statements that even I had to read over on several amendments to make sure I understood it. I don't claim to be Einstein but in the state that ranks 50th in the union for education, I can bet there were many confused voters who voted against their own beliefs due to the verbose nature of the proposals :(

7. My new policy is not to support people who don't support me.
The path forward?

-Unrelenting provocation and noise about how Californians elected Barack Obama and in the next breath removed state sanctioned rights from gay people.

-Disruption of all things the "Yes on 8" voters take for granted. The possibilities are endless.

-An endless series of expensive and resource draining law suits and harassment.

-Shaming and embarrassing "outings" on people who signed "Yes on 8" petitions and/or who gave financial support.

-Harassment of the Democratic party and its leaders for their endless equivocation on gay rights

-And we need to do something to restrict/limit divorce and shame people for adultry.

How's that for a start?

Some are just ignorant and can still be reached IMO. I'm not really feeling like I'm in an educating mood right now though.

13. I don't look at race at all. I'm an equal-opportunity hater of most Yes on 8 voters and supporters.
I realize most blacks who voted on 8 voted yes, but it's totally illogical to hate blacks because of this. This applies universally.

And I say "most" because I believe some voters who approved 8 are perfectly reasonable folk, but simply didn't understand what they were doing. They can be educated.
