A candlelight rally meant to protest Prop 8, the ban on same-sex marriage in California, turned ugly in Palm Springs after a supporter of the proposition counter-rallied with what appeared to be a crucifix Friday

1. I think they handled it fairly peacefully.

All I saw was them holding the No on 8 signs over her and escorting her out. Maybe I didn't get the best view from that angle. I could be wrong. :shrug:
