Just got home from the LA protest.
It was HUGE!!! I'll post pics later.

We're at home safe and sound, watching the news and ordering food for the troops!

2. No one took to the streets and marched
across LA? I was hoping that the protest tonight would shut the whole city down.

3. We had at least 100 in Woodland Hills at DeSoto and Ventura.
Los Angeles is a HUUUUGE city. Impossible to shut it all down.

We maintained order and didn't block any streets. ZIf you know Ventura Bl, you'll understand how dangerous that would be to try, lol. Frickin' racetrack.

4. Yes I know Ventura Blvd very well
but protesters on Thursday were able to at various times shut down parts of Santa Monica Blvd, Wilshire Blvd, and Sunset Blvd.

6. Great!, but please let George Tekei know...

Proposition 8 is a revision, not an amendment. He made an important point on CNN (while at the protest), but didn't express it quite right. If Proposition 8 is ruled to be a Revision to the Constitution (and it should be), then it would require a 2/3 vote in both houses of the state legislature before it could be put to a vote.
