Fun with the Mormons!
Given their unfortunate tendency to posthumously baptize the long dead and make converts of them, hows about setting up in front of the temple and holding posthumous gay weddings for their ancestors?

Maybe Brigham Young could end up married to 27 of the men in attendance, etc. (They would make an interesting counterpoint to his 27 wives.)

I am sure that the usual censorious prisspots who are always skulking in this forum and telling us what we are allowed to say and do and think will object, but you have to admit that there is genuine comic potential in this.

1. Ask the mormons if they feel superior after what they did
to the white people that they massacred on the mormon trail

5. Mountain Meadow Massacre
They killed all but youngsters below the age of 12 and then gave those children to Mormon families to raise. The victims started out in Arkansas--there is a memorial stone to them on the courthouse square in Boone County, AR, which relates the entire story.

4. My family has been a victim of this baptizing practice
Someone who is affiliated with the LDS Church mined my genealogical data and baptized everyone on it, including my mother, who is very much alive and very much offended. I found who did it, emailed them, and received no answer. I emailed the LDS Church, who did nothing.

To my mind, making a gesture such as you have suggested would be something that might be effective. I'm tired of LDS Church members thinking they can do things to others without their permission. My mother is still fit to be tied over what they did.

8. One of my cousins got suckered into that cult in the 70s,
Edited on Sun Nov-09-08 08:01 PM by QC
when her mother had just died and she was especially vulnerable.

She got baptized for all of our ancestors, and quite a few other people's too.

The poor dear later went to Brigham Young U. for a while, but left when she saw how angry her professors got when she asked too many questions about church doctrine. They don't like that whole questioning thing.

14. My g-g-g-grandfather and his gang of thugs did that deed, it appears.
They were in charge of making sure things in Utah went the way ol' Brigham wanted them to go, if you catch my drift.

15. How 'bout a Kiss-In
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 05:40 AM by Ellen Forradalom
Fine young gay men dress up as Mormon missionaries and kiss in public places?

The ladies can make out with their "sister wives."

Can't take credit for kissing missionaries, that appeared in another thread.

on edit: a little Mormon theology in support of a Kiss In: http://mormoninsights.blogspot.com/2008/09/holy-kiss.html?showComment=1220481240000
