and recognized that we do very much care about these issues, because our lives have been so touched and influenced by individuals with different sexual orientiations. But we didn't say or do enough. And now you are suffering.

I would understand that. It's a shame that it takes something like this to wake some of us up. I wish I had done better. This whole week has been an epiphany for me. I feel very guilty, but it has been an opportunity to really evaluate my values and beliefs, and see where I have failed or not been attentive enough.

5. Sarah Ibarruri - Those rallies should have been
an eye opener for all but that small percentage that attended them.

4. I wonder what the difference is between those who get it
and those who don't?

I know there is no answer, it's very individual. I am glad you got it.

peace-

6. It took me longer than it should.
I think it was because there was some pain involved.

But I'm not one for making excuses.

I just want to do the right thing now. It felt so good the other night to let some of these things off my chest.

7. I was wrong, I was late to the party.
Now, my purpose is to figure out what to do better. How to make it right.

I live in a small town, a conservative shithole, and most of the people here are of a particular religion that actually dumped money here to defeat the proposition.

So I have no allies here.

I'm also divorced and single, which is always "suspicious".

I can't speak for everyone, but as for myself, I'm glad there are people waking up. :pals:

It's those who refuse to wake up that gripe my ass to no end.

11. No, I never get sick of hearing that people have had an awakening!
I appreciate it very much. None of us are perfect. We all have awakenings, if we are fortunate, to more enlightened understandings.

Thank you and bless you! I mean that very seriously.
