I'm still angry about Prop 8

We the undersigned believe that any churches which attempts to deprive American's of their civil rights by supporting financially or liturgically unequal rights or removal of civil rights should be denied tax exempt status on every level of government: federally, statewide, and locally. As avid and passionate American supporters of equal rights, we react strongly to the unacceptable involvement in government by these organization. With this petition, we are demanding that political activism against civil rights by churches results in removal of tax exempt status for the church involved in that activity.

We intend that these organizations pay their share of taxes and that contributions to said organizations cannot be claimed as charitable contributions.
