"This kind of story reaffirms why I voted Yes on 8. I am sick to death of the ram-it-down-your-throat mentality of the gay mafia.

I’ve had gay friends, and still know some good, decent people who are gay...but they are NOT the militant ones who feel the need to push push push push.

I lost a friendship before the 2004 election because a guy who I had considered a good friend could NOT shut up about how gay marriage was more important than anything...and I finally told him that there was no way in hell gay marriage was more important than national security because he might not even be around to (fill in the blank, won’t repeat it here).

The gay mafia doesn’t get it; they do NOT bring about sentiments of sympathy or empathy, they drive a stake in their own “cause.” I don’t really care if people are gay, but they are starting to making me care, and not in the way they hope. Unfortunate for the gay people who don’t make their bedroom activities the focal point of their existence and are good, productive and kind people who just happen to be gay. If I were one of them, I’d be activating to call off the dogs because they will be the biggest losers as far as “acceptance.”

Sorry, just had to rant. Still fuming over the story in the OP. Score one for the gay mafia, at least in short-terms goals.

have been ramming their view of morality and "correct" sexuality down our throats for eons now. Stay the hell out of our business and you won't have anything to worry about. We support straight society through our higher taxes to pay for THEIR breeding.
