Marriage is a legal agreement and nothing more. Human emotions and religions, while important for most people, are "add-ons" to marriage.
Gays and Lesbians should have the same right to our legal system.

That's why, if I ever get married -- whether it's to a man or a woman, it won't be in a church or done by some minister. There's a separation of church and state for a reason.

Which laws say who can and cannot be baptized? What are the legal rights and protections inherent in ordination? What are the statutory priviledges that come with a bar mitzvah? Can you name the tax benefits that one receives automatically upon being confirmed with the laying-on of hands by a bishop in the chain of Apostolic succession?
Well, I thought that since marriage was a religious institution, then other religious institutions would be subject to similar laws. Makes sense, right?
