Great at spelling, suck at punctuation...help me with this quote:
We have "Gay" checks. We're allowed to put our own messages on them. Our message will read: If you take gay money but deny gay rights, you're a hypocrite.

But I want to ensure the punctuation on the quote is right. :-)

It's stronger.

8. The punctuation is good as it stands, but rewriting is possible:

"We have equality in the marketplace; we want equality in law."

"Accepting our money while rejecting our rights = Hypocrisy"

9. How about?
"I'm as queer as a three dollar bill and this check won't bounce!"

OK, seriously, your quote, add "and."

11. You might consider a - before the last clause.
Only because it's sort "in" right now to use the -.
