I'm proud of our new principal

We had open house for prospective students yesterday - our big chance to try to lure them to our high school. In the opening remarks, our principal was talking about how diverse our school was. He's the first principal (as far as I remember) who included in his overview that we have a gay-straight alliance. :)

(Normally it's the sort of thing that's just quietly there if you ask for it, but not listed as a selling point for our school - in case it might offend a parent and cost us a student.)
