2. The First Presidency and the Quorum of Twelve are all fanatics
They have to be: it is a qualification for the job. And as fanatics, communications of any kind that condemns their doctrines, no matter how politely or logically phrased, will only harden their fanatical conviction that they are right and everyone else in the universe is wrong and will burn in Hell.

In short, a postcard campaign would be counterproductive.

Keeping protests public, we can shine a bright spotlight on them and make their bigotry and hatred plain for all to see.

3. Skip the church offices -- send it to the companies that have CEOs that are mormons

Sending it to the Church will only fan their persecution complex.

Sending it to companies that have Mormon CEOs will have greater impact in that the companies will have to wonder what type of financial impact having a Mormon CEO will have on their bottom line.

Some Mormon CEOs will be forced to denounce the Church's position. We want to help create divisions in the Mormon world, not unify it.

Mormon CEOs, and Mormon athletes and entertainers should be singled out until they come out against 8.

8. I don't actually advocate this approach. But if you're going to do it, the CEO is the
wrong person to send the postcards to. That was my only point.

7. Divide out the business leaders from the Church

Priceline.com and Marriott would seem to be the most vulnerable to a mass campaign

10. It's already being done
http://InvalidateProp8.org

Send a message to the Mormon church, whose members raised more than $15 million to fund the deceitful advertising campaign for Proposition 8, the initiative that takes away the right to marry for same sex couples in California!

Make a tax-deductable donation, in the name of the president of the Mormon church, to support the legal organizations working to invalidate Proposition 8 and to fund grass-roots activities in support of full marriage equality. For every donation of $5 or more, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center will send the following postcard to President Thomas Monson’s office in Salt Lake City, acknowledging your donation in his name.

Let’s work to overturn Prop. 8 while sending a message to the Mormon church that it’s wrong for any organization to exert political influence to deny the civil rights of any group!

As of Friday, Nov. 14, InvalidateProp8.org has raised more than $60,000, generating more than 2,300 postcards--from people in nearly every state and all over the world--to the president of the church!
