A transsexual woman Tuesday was acquitted of intentionally lying by listing herself as the bride on a marriage license application.

Sandy Clarissa Gast, 48 was charged with false swearing, a misdemeanor carrying a maximum fine of $500. Sheriff's deputies arrested her shortly after she filled out the license form with her partner and fiancé George Somers. Somers now also lives as a woman.
