5. This bright articulate young man is being the adult, his parents are

acting like children. The father is in denial and the mother is having a passive agrressive hate fest and creating a hostile home environment.

His sadness is palpable, this is something that never needed to happen, if the parents had been somethingthey apparently cannot be, namely loving.

The consequences of this family behavior is depression and isloation of young people. Tragic.

6. It Is So sad

that our young people are still going through this shit almost 4 decades after Stonewall. I expected this back in 1969 and 1972 when I came out to my mum. Now, I see it's 2008 and little has changed for LGBTQ youth. This video needs to be seen.

I notice with great distress the ignorance and hatred on Youtube. It's very sad to see people this ignorant and hateful.

Even more sad is the video of the young man sent to ex-gay therapy.

As far as I am concerned, this should be considered child abuse. Unfortunately, I don't think anything will be done about this anytime soon. I do thank the God/dess that my mum finally overcame her homophobia before she passed away. I wish parents would realise that what THEY want for their child just might not be the best thing.

Luckily, this young man has a mind of his own and is overcoming the nonsense preached by the Christian Wrong.
