Book on GLBT activism from amazon that I ordered
Here it is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0415926688/qid=1100790477/br=1-4/ref=br_lf_b_4//104-8644233-8459125?v=glance&s=books&n=10705

It's titled Everyday Activism: A Handbook for Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual People and their Allies (pretend that's underlined).

Anyway, it looked pretty good, and despite the lack of reader reviews (which I normally love to read), there is a good editorial review and I ordered it.

Anyone have it or read it? I'm hoping it gives me some more direction. I feel sort of stalled out....I joined HRC and PFLAG, I'm very open about my support of and fight for GLBT rights to just about everyone I know, but I feel like I don't know where to go from here. Obviously legislative work is highly important, but I literally have ZERO Democratic representation on ANY level of government (yeah, isn't that sad?). My senators are Kay Bailey Hutchinson and John Cornyn and one of them (can't remember which) was even a co-sponsor of the FMA. Ug. I'm not going to get anywhere with them.

So besides the book, which I'll be waiting on, anyone have any ideas for where to go from here? I really need to go read the HRC website more indepth I guess. Thanks!
