Reagan was faking "mental clarity" all through his presidency
remember, he wrote the letter saying that he was suffering from Alzheimer's ... only thing was, he wrote it in 1983 ...

;)

Is he faking his own death now, too?

2. can you imagine a president's Greatest Moment of rhetoric being
"where's my microphone, I paid for this microphone"? Repukes are simply pathetic.

6. The only person keeping Reagan from being the worst Prez post-Nixon
Well, do I have to say it?

Never in my life have I found Reagan to be the charismatic figure that his legion of worshippers paint him to be. At best, he always seemed like the annoying and dottering husband of your great-aunt. To be indulged, perhaps, but not really someone you'd want to lead any project of importance.

7. the repukes and media prop bush up as competent
they pushed Reagan as a larger than life figure but anyone with any brains could see he was all flash and very, very little substance.

8. My mother spotted it in 1982.
He'd had some sort of press conference and had gone off topic. "My gawd, he's MAUNDERING!" was her comment. She went on to say he looked like a typical case of geriatric senility.

3. ... I'm sure he died in the 90's and the GOP kept him on ice ...
... until they needed a 'Ronnie Reminder' moment.

Problem is, * is no actor; we're all onto him, yet, we're still stuck with him.

5. No. Ronnie, along with General Franco, is still dead.
They're together somewhere, in a place of considerable warmth.
