1. handling and eating INFECTED poultry that is not properly cooked...
...is currently the usual way that humans are infected.

I have a frozen kosher chicken in my freezer and now i'm afraid to cook it...

5. There have not been any domestic cases.
The majority so far have been limited to Asia; it was only this past week or so that some cases cropped up in Turkey and Romania.

2. We don't have to worry about an avian flu epidemic.
Since Evolution is only an unproven theory, there is no way for the bird type to evolve into the human type. Rest easy all you good fundies. But, if you don't mind, I'll think I'm going to worry about it.

6. Wash your hands really good, before and after handling.
Get a good meat thermometer and cook to an internal temp. of 160 degrees F. Wash everything with soapy hot water afterward. Enjoy your chicken and don't worry.
