Since we have so many who enjoy learning about and using folk medicine of various stripes, here's a resource for you:

This is a locally produced radio show that most of us here in NC enjoy. If you don't live near an affiliated station, you can get podcasts. It's all about folk remedies (like gin/raisins for arthritis), current developments in scientific medicine, how nutrition affects health, any and all topics related to medications.

Any way, if you have a question, you can write to the Greadons and if they haven't heard of it, they know whom to ask. The Greadons were among the very first to notice the now well-documented grapefruit amplifying effect on certain medications, notably coumadin.
