FDA's 483 of Peanut Corporation of America
http://www.fda.gov/ora/frequent/483s/pcaamend483red.pdf

Highlights:

-Testing showed presence of S. Typhimurium but some products were shipped before positive results were received.
-Peanut conveyor belt was not cleaned after the isolation of S. Typhimurium.
-Used roasting as a step to reduce presence of pathogens but had not confirmed that it was effective for doing so.

Looks like they're filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy:

1. The CEO tries to save a few bucks

and ends up driving the company into bankruptcy. An example of Repug policies at their best.

Hopefully he'll be a guest of the state until the day he dies.
