I'd gladly pay an extra 1% if it would bring back my Uncle |
|
My Uncle died in 1993, a Physical Therapist, 32 yrs. old from cancer. After a lengthy hospital stay, he was sent home to die because his insurance ran out. I have been unemployed for almost a year, but I would gladly give an extra 1% if I had it. Nothing can bring him back, obviously, but to know that money might save someone else from suffering the anguish of losing someone so young, and cherished it would be priceless!! Not to mention the other obstacle being if he could have married his life partner he would have been covered under his policy also. :grr:

2. I'm thinking a 2% national sales tax would go a long way to paying for healthcare. |

And the neat thing about it, is that everyone pays it, including drug dealers, criminals, illegal aliens, tourists, the rich, the poor, everyone. Who could argue with that?
