Greetings from a concerned Canadian! I'm a 30-year-member of the New Democratic Party (NDP). Right now the link isn't up yet, but I'll check back tonight or tomorrow. If you're not able to get that link up, could you please post some quotations and/or comments from that show? I'd really like to find out what happened there.
BTW, one quotation well-known to New Democrats is "What we desire for ourselves, we wish for all." The quote is from J.S. Woodsworth, one of those EEEVIL Canadian socialists who was a Member of Parliament during the 1930s. It's my favorite motto.
I assume by "Canadian system" you mean the Canadian health care system, eh? Best wishes to all you Americans fighting for health care reform.

:toast: I'm a Canadian living in the U.S., A New Democrat as well! He basically said that the republican, and insurance funded TV ads were bunk, and that about 85% of Canadians like the system fine, and that the myth of people streaming to the U.S. for treatment is bull. Suprisingly, he didn't get near the time as the republican shithead that was yipping along against a public plan, so much ED couldn't shut him up. I think it's time to keep those assholes off his show. They just use it as free time to spout their right wing garbage to his audience. We get enough of that on Fox. He did mention Tommy Douglas, and that the NDP introduced health care, and that Tommy was the Most Famous Canadian.

I'd love to see more of him, and maybe even Shirley Douglas, go up against Steele, or any and all Blue Dogs, they'd tear them apart!
